The heat of the exhaust gas heater rocket mass is routed under the floor and then out. The other is thermal bypass valve - the heat is routed directly from the front, bypassing the floor heating. The interesting thing about this project is that you run a small hot fire, and there is no heat for days. And there are loose in the building. Ethis is not as expensive as other heating systems.
