Performance Upgrades With the Harley Davidson Exhaust

Performance Upgrades With the Harley Davidson Exhaust

Exhaust System

If you are searching for new levels of performance through your bike, then one of the replacement parts to upgrade is the Harley Davidson exhaust. This can provide you with a complete alteration in the performance and looks of your bike while allowing you to enjoy even more of the ride. If you are considering a replacement part; however, then you want to make sure you get the perfect fit for your bike. Knowing which characteristics to include in your bike can then provide you with a better ride.

When you begin to look at the Harley Davidson exhaust parts that are available, you want to make sure that you are able to get the right set of characteristics. One of the considerations many make is the type of performance that is carried. Getting an exhaust that has a mid to hi-end torque can help to improve the overall quality of riding available. Some will also find different systems that have looks to their bike that helps with the overall ride. The specific shape and system that you consider will also alter the noise level of your bike. Considering these qualities can then help you to find the best bike for your needs.

The Harley Davidson exhaust makes and models will differ because of the torque that is used for performance. For instance, short drag pipes can be added in but will often offer lower engine power, dependent on the length of the pipe. Long straight pipes can also be used for continuous power and more stability to the system. True duals are another make, which consists of two systems on each side of the bike for even more power. The slip - fit mufflers are also known for better performance and are able to lower the sound that is on your bike.

No matter what your preferences, you can find the best upgrade to match your system. If you are looking into a new Harley Davidson exhaust, then knowing what to look for can provide you with the best return. The specific makes and models that are available through this can then provide you with the best alternatives for power, performance, looks and sound.

Rinehart 2 Into 1 Harley Pipe Reviews

Rinehart 2 Into 1 Harley Pipe Reviews

Exhaust System

If you are familiar with Harley Davidson exhaust systems then you should be familiar with the name Rinehart and the style of pipes that are known as 2 into 1 pipes.  If not, I am going to share my Rinehart 2 into 1 Harley Pipe Review with you in this article.

Fit and Finish

The fit and finish of the Rinehart 2 into 1 Harley Davidson pipe is very good.  The chrome is deep and lustrous and the pieces feel very solid and heavy in your hand.  This definitely feels like an exhaust system that belongs on a Harley Davidson.  The heat shields are nearly full coverage and are layered in a deep chrome to stay looking good for a long time.  The Rinehart 2 into 1 will not blue and the muffler body is well protected.  The Rinehart 2 into 1 is basically a two piece system with a head pipe that connects to the muffler body and a rear bracket holds it to the frame.  It fit my Harley Davidson nicely and the finish was pretty much perfect.

Rinehart Exhaust Sound

A 2 into 1 Harley pipe has a slightly different sound than the more familiar 2 into 2 Harley pipes.  Sound is hard to describe but it's a deeper sound with more bass to it, if that makes sense.  The great thing about a Rinehart 2 into 1 pipe is that it is deep and rumbly at part throttle but will really WAIL when you hit the throttle and crack it open.  It's the kind of pipe where you can sneak in after hours without irritating your neighbors too much, unless you want to of course.

Rinehart 2 into 1 Performance

I have not dyno'd my Rinehart 2 into 1 Harley pipe but I can tell you that it performs exactly as was described to me.  Compared to a 2 into 2 pipe, it pumps up the mid-range torque and makes the bike MUCH more enjoyable to drive around town.  Where I used to have to shift a gear, I can now just roll on the throttle.  I love that and it matches the RPM range that 99% of us actually ride our bikes in.  Peak power numbers make everyone go goo goo but in reality, for a street bike, a strong torque curve is the deal.

Bottom line is that the Rinehart 2 into 1 Harley Pipes look great, sound great and perform just as well.  If you are looking for a great set of 2 into 1 Harley Davidson exhaust pipes, then check out the Rinehart 2 into 1 Harley pipe today.  I don't think you will regret it.
